Mirkiewicz, Ronald X. "Butch" Age 71, of Calumet City, IL, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015. He is survived by his daughters, Lynette (Jeff) Paliga and Beth (Nick) Pezzuto; grandchildren, Joey, Sam, Danny, Gianna, Julia and Nicky; sister, Sandra (late William) Wozniak; brother, Timmy Mirkiewicz and niece Brittany; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Xavier F. and Helen (nee Pieczul) Mirkiewicz; wife, Janice M. (nee Verde) Mirkiewicz; and sister, Barbara Mirkiewicz. Funeral services will begin with 9:15 a.m. prayers on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 768 Lincoln Ave., Calumet City, IL, with Reverend Jack A. Dada, officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the funeral home, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Butch was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
