Ronald Lhotak Obituary

Lhotak, Ronald "Pops" Age 68, of Chesterton, IN passed away Saturday, February 18th, 2012. Ronald was born in Evergreen Park, IL on August 14, 1943 to Frank and Anne (Slezak) Lhotak. He married Virginia Thedens in Chicago, IL on August 15, 1964. Ronald was the Owner & CEO of Reliable Transportation in Chesterton, IN where he recently celebrated his 25th year in business. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Lhotak of Chesterton, IN; sons, Kevin Lhotak of Valparaiso, IN and Kraig (wife, Jennifer) Lhotak of Chesterton, IN; daughter, Kim (husband, Miles) Nilson of Chesterton, IN; grandchildren, Kris, Kraig Jr., Heather, Adam, Danielle, Sarah and Braiden; brother, Dennis (wife, Nancy) Lhotak of Naperville, IL; nephew, John (wife, Michelle) Lhotak of Salt Lake City, UT; niece, Kathy Lhotak of Naperville, IL; and many cousins. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anne Lhotak. Ronald was a wonderful man and giving person. He loved his country and enjoyed his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He considered all the employees at Reliable his extended family. He was an inspiration and a man of success. His legacy and visions will live on. Visitation for Ronald will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 23rd at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Father James Meade will officiate. Entombment at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN.
