Ronald Jurgeto Obituary

Jurgeto, Ronald L. 74, of Dyer, IN formerly of Dolton, IL passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009 with his family by his side, beloved husband for 54 years of Diane Jurgeto, loving father of Jody Jurgeto, Robert (Kathryn) Jurgeto, Sherrie (David) Pierce, Suzanne Jurgeto, and Anthony (Anne) Jurgeto, cherished grandfather of Taylor, Samantha, Alysse, and Nicholas, preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mary Jurgeto, sister, Louise Patterson. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN with the funeral service at 8:30 p.m. Ron was a member of Millwright Local 1693, a die hard Cubs fan and coached for many years with the Dolton Boys Baseball League. 219-924-3333 www.kishfuneralhome.net

I've known Sue for many years and consider her a very good friend. Along the way, Sue has shared some wonderful stories with me about her family and therefore feel close. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

i have thought about ron jurgeto often over the last 43 years of knowing him. he was a great coach and person. i am sponsoring some baseball teams in san antonio, texas under his name to honor his love for coaching and family. we will never forget ron.
