Ronald Iehl Obituary

Iehl, Ronald James Formerly ofDowners Grove, Illinois, died March 12, 2012 of heart failure at his home in Bradenton, Florida. He was 64. Ron was born on Septmber 3, 1947 in Aurora, Illinois to Edward and Mildred Iehl (Wood). Ron lived and attended grade school in Downers Grove. Ron's father was a WWII Veteran. His mother owned and operated the Tivoli Beauty Salon. Ron's grandparents, Eugene and Erma Wood, owned and operated the Tivoli Hotel. Ron was not married and had no children. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. Ron spent the later half of his life as a Florida restaurateur and was an avid golf player. He loved boating, fishing and was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan. He is survived by his beloved, Lhasa Apso, 'Spikie'; his aunt, Mildred Wood (Musil); and many cousins. A Memorial Service with lunch will be held for Ron's family and close friends at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois on May 15, 2012 in the Sycamore Room from 11AM to 3PM.
