Freeman, Ronald M. beloved husband of the late Bonnie (nee Miller), devoted father of Elizabeth Freeman, Sean (Ami) Freeman, and Tiffany (Andrew) Carpenter, adoring "Papa Ronney" of Bayla Freeman, cherished brother of Phyllis (Gerald) Geren and Gayle (the late Ron) Katz, dearest uncle to his many nieces and nephews. A larger than life character who was warm, generous and kind to everyone. Ronald Freeman was never afraid to tell it like it is and stand by you through thick and thin. With his word or touch, impossible was nothing. A legend, Ronald Freeman will be greatly missed by all. Chapel service Monday, 12:30 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom. Ronnie was our closet connection to our father's other family.
His willingness to welcome us into his life was wonderful and appeciated. We will certainly miss him and are thankful that he was in our lives.
