Borniak M.D., Roman Michael age 55, September 2, 2005, beloved husband of Lydia and loving father of Mark and Andrew, cherished son of Katherine (the late Michael), dearest brother of Lesia (Oleh) Kowerko and dear uncle of Petrusia (Shane) Duncan, fond son-in-law of Anna Hrubyj and brother-in-law of Luba Hrubyj. Funeral Thursday, 10 a.m., from Muzyka Funeral Home, 2157 W. Chicago Ave., to Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church for a 10:30 a.m. funeral service. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 5 to 9 p.m. with a Parastas (Wake Service) 7 p.m. at chapel (additional parking S.W. corner of Chicago Ave. at Leavitt St.). Info: 773-278-7767

Roman was my Intern at St.Mary of Nazareth Hospital almost 30 years ago. Ever since we were close friends, sharing lots of good and bad moments. He'll always be on my memory and my heart. My deepest condolences to the family.
