Roger Hecker Obituary
He was born Oct. 18, 1951, in Bloomfield, Iowa, a son of the late Max Edward Hecker and Rose Marie Scott Hecker.
Mr. Hecker graduated from Davis County Community High School of Bloomfield, Iowa, in 1969.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at Lancaster Funeral Home.
Mr. Hecker is survived by a daughter, Caroline Faulkenberry and her husband, Brandon, of Blythewood; two brothers, James Hecker and his wife, Debbra, of Port Byron, Ill., and Robert Hecker and his wife, Shirley, of Winfield, Iowa; and two grandchildren, Elijah Faulkenberry and Jacob Faulkenberry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter; and a brother, Ronald Hecker.

May the God of all comfort be with the family during this very difficult time. We all yearn for better conditions. How encouraging to know that God's Word the Bible assures us the time will come when all sorrows and pain and death will be gone forever and mankind will live in beautiful surroundings with nothing to fear. Mary Beth,
I attended church with Roger in Pulaski since we were tiny and then through school from Kindergarten through H S. You and I met a few years ago at the Mexican Restaurant in Bloomfield. My last name was Fleming then and I was there with Mike & Cheryl Fleming. Cheryl told me yesterday of Roger's death and you've been on my mind ever since. We like to send a memorial on behalf of our classmates so if you would let me know how do to that, it would be great. You can e-mail me at [email protected]. I was going to attempt to contact Bob in the Burlington area but this is better. Please know that many thoughts and prayers are going out for you.....
