Avello, Rocco A. "Rocky" 59, after a valiant battle with cancer, Rocky maintained his sense of humor till the end. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Pricolo) for 39 years, loving father of Christopher Rocco Avello, Dawn Marie (Nic) Allegretto and Rocky Dominick Avello, beloved son of the late Susie (nee Luciano) and the late Nicola Avello, son-in-law of the late Dominic and Marie Pricolo and beloved Minnie Keller, dear brother of Carlo (Joanie) Avello, Philomena (the late Donald) Stephens, John (Sharon) Avello, and the late Bernard (Maryann) Avello and the late Michael Avello, brother-in-law of Gloria (the late Tony) Prainito, fond uncle, great uncle and friend of many and loving pop to Paws. Chapel service Monday, 11 a.m., at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Interment private. Please omit flowers. Marilyn, please accept our heartfelt sympathies to you and your children. Rocky's time of hurting is thankfully over. We didn't know him well but he was always pleasant and easy to talk to. He will be missed.
