Arleen/Bob Carramusa

January 27, 2017

Cathy, Bobby, Gina, Mary, Jen and all of the Wendell family and beyond, Butch as I've always known him, was unique in that he probably knew half the people in Chicago and they all loved and respected him to the limit. There is no other like him!

Kind, thoughtful, giving and a BEST friend to all the Guys he grew up with from Day 1. When someone was in need, Butch was the first at their door to help in any way he could.

I've known him since I met my Bob (53+ years) who lived across the hall from the Wendell's and the two Bobs grew up together. Although he literally had all sisters, he was abundant with brothers from the neighborhood who are all very close to this day.

When Butch called our house and I answered, he would always greet me with, "How's your tomatoes" and I'd reply "ripe" as you are "fresh". He has meant so much to Bob and I and it will be a long time adjusting to a life without this incredible man.

Through the years so many memories with friends from California and Chicago getting together and the incredible times we all spent together. Hopefully, they will help us heal.

Dear, beautiful Cathy, a true Lady I have come to love so much, may God Bless You with His love and comfort and your 51, beautiful years together. And to all the family, God give you peace and acceptance of a glorious life lived by a man who "Did It His Way".

Butch, rest in peace and without pain. I'm sorry I couldn't be there physically, but my heart was with you and your loved ones every minute.

Love to all, Arleen Carramusa

Dear Cathy and Family,
Our sincere condolences and prayers to you and your family. Bob is no longer in pain and is resting in peace. He was always a happy go lucky guy and could put a smile on your face or pain in your stomach from his witty jokes or comments. He'll not be forgotten and will live in spirit in all the hearts that have known him.
