Dear Alice,
I was saddened to hear of Bob's death. I have fond memories of Bob from his community organizing activities in Syracuse, particularly how he mentored this naïve small-town boy, opening me up to view the world in a new, progressive way. (And, there are the Beef Box Pizza days, where Bob helped me land a delivery job when I was unemployed.) He was a good, caring man, down to earth, whose work and compassion will live forever in the memories of the many he touched.

It is an honor to know a man who left a legacy that will impact a future generation . Liz, Jimmy and Tom be proud of your father and celebrate the life of a Man who dedicated his life helping others . My love and prayers go out to you all and your Mother ..shalom .

Bob, Alice, Liz, Jim, Tom, John.....you have been my favorite family for the last 50 years.... And you will remain my favorite family for the next 50 as well.
Brother Bob I will miss you all the remaining days of my life here on earth.
Meanwhile, enjoy your time in Heaven, till we meet again.
