I just heard. So sorry for your loss. I worked with Bob for many years, until the day he retired from the City. I'll miss our Shrimp run to South Chicago every Christmas. RIP Bob, you were a great guy. I'll miss you.

I will always remember Bob's generosity to our family and his kindness and helpfulness to us (especially to my aunt Del and uncle Don, who were Bob's next door neighbors for several years). I remember watching Bears home games (when they were blacked out in Chicago) and going to many card game parties at Bob's house when I was a kid and these were always fun times.
We will miss you Bob...God speed you into Heaven, where you'll surely have a bar stool reserved near my dad, my grandpa Pete, Dolores and Bud and your sons!
