Bob was my best friend in elementary school and junior high school. After he moved to East Cleveland, his mom would drive him to our house on east 113th St. in Cleveland, Ohio and we would play street football and fellowship. He got me into crossing guard at Mt. Pleasant Elementary and playing drums at Nathan Hale, Junior High. He was my hero and I looked up to Bob and missed him after he moved to East Cleveland. I had tried to reconnect with Robert after about a year ago but, was unsuccessful. I am grieved to learn of his passing. I would like to make contact with a member of his family, preferably a brother or sister who lived on east 118th St. in Cleveland. O, and reminisce. My wife and I live in Eaton Township, Ohio and my e-mail address is: [email protected]. Phone no. is (440) 748-3806. My condolences to all family and friends of Bob,

Tony Mion

One of the all time great receivers in Shaw High School history. He joins another legend, his quarterback, Bruce Matte. So sorry for your loss, he will be missed by his friends of the Shaw High class of 1963.
