Robert Thomas Pike, age 75, passed away on February 27, 2024 in Chicago, IL. Robert (Bob) was a 1966 graduate of DeLaSalle High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Roosevelt University. He worked for Natural Gas Pipeline for most of his career and later worked for the City of Chicago prior to his retirement in 2004.

Bob was an enthusiastic fisherman and loved his regular fishing trips with his son. He enjoyed gardening and baking and was known for his amazing Christmas cookies. He was also an avid reader and puzzle solver. Bob cherished spending time with his family and took great pride in watching his children and grandchildren grow and thrive.

Bob is survived by his children Tim (Kathy), Tammy (Julio) and Robyn (Jason). He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Thomas, Sydney, Sarah, Rebecca and Emma; and two great grandchildren, Timburlee and Adaline.

Robert Thomas Pike will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Bob has been a great friend for as long as I can remember. We grew up together in our south side neighborhood and played every sport in the Green School school yard. Since his retirement we have been going to lunch every month. He will be missed but never forgotten.
