Robert Patrick Obituary

Robert D. Patrick

Age 75, of Wilmington, died unexpectedly on December 22, 2011.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in the greater Philadelphia area, he was a 1957 graduate of Lincoln Prep High School. Bob attended the University of Delaware and served in the Delaware Air National Guard for six years. He spent his working career as a draftsman, mostly recently employed by Atlantic Aviation. After his retirement, Bob was a volunteer driver for RSVP and the Club House (group homes for adults living with disability challenges).

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Juliet Calhoun Patrick; 1 brother, Douglas W. Patrick; and 2 nephews, Doug and Geoffrey Patrick.

A funeral service with Holy Eucharist will be held at 11 am, Thursday, December 29 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Millcreek Hundred, with interment in the adjoining churchyard.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests honoring the memory of Robt. D. Patrick by sending a contribution to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 2800 Duncan Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808 or Faithful Friends (an animal rescue organization), 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, DE 19804.
