I will surely miss my very favorite uncle. He did so much with Bev and I when we were young and I had such a wonderful time with him. I am so glad I got to see him as an adult and I still had such a good time with him!! Uncle Bob reminded me so much of my dad - they were like two peas in a pod. My heart goes out to all the family.

Bob and I worked & sometimes played at FNB. Bob was a pro & I extend my condolences to his family. Bob will be missed!!

In 1954, fresh out of catholic school, I found my first job working at The
First National Bank of Chicago in the
Stock Transfer Dept. Bob Oglesby,
Roy Swanson & Wm Hehr were my
managers. I was so fortunate to know all of them. Bob Oglesby was
always cheerful and I can't remember
him reprimanding us for anything. He
encourage us & our jobs were simple then. Answer phones promptly, type letters and return stock to it proper
agent. He was never in a bad mood!
I've thought of him and this lovely old bank with it's white marble floors and it's brass entry doors & always think how lucky I was ..back in 1954.
