Nyhanna, Robert P. age 89, late of Oak Lawn, Member of VFW Post #5220 of Oak Lawn and Retired from Sharko's Restaurant, passed away Monday, February 16, 2009, cherished husband of Violet A. (nee Horn) Nyhanna, devoted father of late Ralph Nyhanna, James (Kathleen) Nyhanna, Robert (Janice) Nyhanna, loving grandfather of Bill (Nikki) Nyhanna, Mandy (Mike) Maza, Amy Nyhanna and Traci Nyhanna, fond great-grandfather of Starla and Mikey Maza. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. at EDGAR FUNERAL HOME, 10900 S. Cicero Avenue, Oak Lawn with Rev. Nancy Goede, Pastor of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Garden South Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10400 S. Kostner Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. For information 708-423-1600 or 773-723-0876.

my deepest sympathy to the nyhanna family for their loss.
i remember robert from 70th place,
and that he was a driving instructor.
i have not seen any of the nyhanna family since they moved some 40 years ago, but remember them well.
again, our sympathy....
the laga family.
