Robert Novak Obituary

I fondly remember Bob's patience, compassionate nature, and fairness while mentoring me as a young crew scheduler at ORDCM in 1970 during my pilot furlough. No doubt many others were as blessed as I to have known him and benefited by his kindness.

Barb, I am sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I enjoyed working with Bob at United, and I'm not just saying that because he always had a full cookie jar. At least it was always full until the people working midnights heard about it. He was always upbeat and generous. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Bob was a real gentleman in every way. I worked with him over the years, beginning at ORD Crew Desk in 1970
and continued thru the years. He was always pleasant in
his work and a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all with whom he came in contact.

The long journey is over. My heart felt sympathy to all of you for your loss. May you find peace in the memories of happy times.

I worked with Bob at ORDCM & OPBCM from 1968-1994 and it was a pleasure to work beside him for many of these years. Bob as like all the others that I worked with over the years will never be forgotten.

My heartfelt sympathy to Bob's family. I worked with him from the time he started with United until I retired, both at O'Hare & the EXO. My fondest memories of him are "just a bowl of soup please" when somone was returning the trays to the cafeteria. I also remember that he was an avid fan of Notre Dame. He was a very happy go lucky person & very enjoyable to work with. My heart goes out to you.

Dear Bob, my heart is saddened by your passing. I can remember may wonderful days at work with you and the enjoyment of good conversation when time permitted. I will miss you and hold tight the thoughts of many good and wonderful memories. Your workmate, lunch mate and crossword puzzler.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Bob was a fellow worker at United Airlines and will always be remembered for his warm ways and his love of Notre Dame. May fond memories help you through this time.
