Bob enjoyed poetry, especially Gerard Manley Hopkins. Hopkins said of Jesus that He is our first, last, best Friend. Of course, Jesus is a special case. In Hopkins case, my casual reading seems to reveal that even though his life was short he had several first, last, best friends, really good friends. During our long lives, Bob was a first, last, best friend, brother, and Father. I miss him. Matt Cook
