Maier, Robert J. age 79, late of Tinley Park, IL, beloved husband of the late Eleanor (nee Lundy), beloved by Rose, loving father of Carol (John) Beauregard, Richard (Theresa) Maier, Daniel (Terri) Maier and the late Robert Maier, proud grandfather of David, Joy (Chris), Deb, Katy, Jennifer (Cliff), Joseph, Elizabeth, Katarina, Lisa, Dana, Eric, Delaney and Shane, great-grandfather of Michael, Sam, Hannah and Jenna, caring brother of Sr. Roseen Maier, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Monday, December 13, 2004, 9:30 a.m., from the Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave., Tinley Park, IL, to St. George Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Robert was an active member of the Tinley Park American Legion and the VFW Post #2791. Retired electrician from local 134. Friend to all.
