Pat, Bob and their family were an extension of our family when they visited. They were wilder and crazier and loads of fun. Cedar Point trips were especially memorable I think my dad's relationship with his fratenity brothers is what finally convinced me to join my faternity. I will miss seeing Bob.

We were saddened to read in the "Akron Beacon Journal" of Bob's death. He was a friend from Phi Tau days and Air Force days. In the '50's we lived near Bob and Pat and Nanette in Springfield , OH. In the '70's we shared some visits in the D.C. area. We join in extending our sympathy to Nanette, Cindy and Pat.
Sincerely,
Ed & Marcia Mazak

Dear Pat, Cindi, & Lacey;
Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you girls. Your father Cindi was always such a happy man, he was always smiling. My condolences go out to you all. Love you.

Dad told me about Bob's passing this morning when I joined him and mom for my morning coffee. First thing I did was go out to the front yard to look for the heart he had carved into a tree some 38 + years ago. I could barely make out the initials in the center: BL + LP. I will always remember that day!
