Klans Jr., Robert Edward of Cicero, age 56, Vietnam War Veteran Sgt. 101st Airborne U.S. Army. former husband of Vickie J. (nee Lasinskas), devoted father of Kristine, Victoria, Angela, Jennifer, and Robert Klans III, grandfather of Krystal, Antonio, Jordan, and Dakota, son of Maryann Wenig and Mary Klans, and the late Robert E. Klans Sr., brother of Valerie Klans, Carolyn (Richard) Cerda, David Klans, Diane Langford, Mark and Michael Spears, Linda Lassario, and the late Daniel Klans, nephew of William, Vincent, Raymond and the late Andrew Zidarich. Funeral Friday, April 8th 9 a.m. from Svec & Sons Funeral Home, 6227 W. Cermak Rd., Berwyn, to St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Member of Robert E. Coulter Jr. Post #1941 A.L. and Logan Avondale Post #2978 VFW. I will always remember and love my brother Bobby.
There are many memories that I will cherish forever. My heart goes out to Vickie,Victoria, Krissy, Angie, Jenn, little Bobby and all of the grandchilcren. He loved you all so much. And, proud, Boy, you could hear the pride in his voice whenever he talked about you guys to anyone. There were allot of good times. We now have one more angel watching over all of us.

I will always remember the fun we had doing acrobatics in the livingroom on Belden Avenue (pee yew those smelly socks Bob had). Bob would let us sit on the back board of his convertable as he drove on Lake Shore Drive, with 60's 8-track music blasting. I remember M&M's by the gallon in Bob & Vickie's refrigerator on the holidays. I never saw so many M&M's. I wish Bob eternal peace in Heaven.
