Dad, it's been just about a year now and I still want to just pick up the phone and hear your voice. Every time I drive your van, I reach down and touch the gloves you kept right beside your driver's seat. It gives me a sense of peace to know your hand wore that glove. Took the van up into the mountains today Dad, I know you always liked to go up and have a picnic and collect rocks to take back to your yard in Elmwood Park. You would have liked it up there today. Well, Dad, just want you to know, I miss you so much it hurts inside. You have always been there for me, for us, and I want you to know that I am grateful for all you have done for me. I will always miss you and Mom and I love you both. -Sue

Daddio, you were the best dad ever. I will truly miss you and all the fun times we had. I loved our trips to Denver as we really got to know each other during the long drives. You will always be my best friend and I will love you forever. Say hi for me to Mom and all the relatives in Heaven.
Love, Judy (Juddio)

My dad was my hero. He taught me so many great things about life; but the most valuable lesson I learned is called love. I will carry a part of Dad in my heart forever.
I know he was very lonely without Mom, but I know he is with her now and that is helping with the terrible grief I feel in my heart.
My dad was absolutely the best ever and I am proud to declare that to the world!
Rest in peace, I will miss you dearly.
Love always,
Laura, Ron, Stevie, Cody and Jon

Dear Hansen Family,
Though I know there are no words to comfort you, we are truly sorry for your loss. My family and I have many fond memories of your father. How he donated much of his time to the success of the show's at St. Celestine and what a sweet and gentle man that he always was. I hope that you all find "the fingerprints" that he leaves behind and know that he lives on in each of you and that he will guide you all until you meet again.
Our deepest condolences

Dear Dad, I am so happy that you are now at peace and with Mom, I know these last 4 years were tough for you without Mom. You were the best Dad a girl could ever have and Steve thought the world of you. You were a fabulous grandfather to Jason and Joe (and Heidi!) and I'm so glad that your newest greatgrandson, Aiden, got to meet you. Your other greatgrandson, Layne, loved the time he had with you. My heart is breaking, but you made me strong so I will be ok. You never knew a stranger, just a friend you hadn't yet met. I'll miss you, Love, Sue

Dear Judy,Sue,David,Jim,Laura,Jen;
I was so heart broken to hear about Pops. I truly loved this man. He {and all of you} had become so much a part of my family.
I'd love to have the magic words to make this pain go away, but there aren't any. If there were I wouldn't still have so much pain from losing our Parents.
David, when you and I spoke yesterday, we talked about things people try to say to make you feel better. But there really isn't any.
Just remember that He will never be forgotten as long as he is in our hearts.
To all of the Grandchildren, Keep the memories alive with each other and your parents. Don't ever forget those fun hand shakes. Keep that alive, teach the next generation.
I love all of you, and you will be in my prayers.

Love Dena Wright
