Hannon, Robert James At peace and with God in Laguna Niguel CA, formerly of Chicago, passed away on May 31, 2012 in Newport Beach, CA., after a long illness Robert, 78, was preceded in death by Marjorie, mother of Robert Jr, Jana and Marshall and Lisa (nee Zia-deceased) mother of Sean, also preceded in death by his eldest son, Robert Jr, and daughter, Jana. He is survived by son, Marshal (Vicki) and Sean Hannon. Robert has eight grandchildren, Nicolas, Angelique, William, Megan, Marshall, Michael, Micala, Molly and new great-grandaughter, Madeline. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Elsie and his eldest brother, Marshall (the late Rosemary) and is survived by sisters, Joan (Atchley), Donna (the late John Davis), Jean (Richine) and brothers, Thomas and Jerome (Deborah). He is survived by nineteen nieces and nephews. Robert was very close and fond of great-nieces, Annie (Ralph) and Gabriel Matyi. He is survived by many generations of great nieces and nephews. Robert was a man of great strength and courage who steadied and guided all he met through the storms of life. His laughter, good humor, and positive force were well-met, bringing joy and happiness into the lives he touched on his journey. A mass of celebration of his life will be held on Friday, August 17 at 12pm, at St. Clare of Montefalco Church, 5443 S. Washtenaw Ave (corner of 55 th St. Washtenaw-Parking in the rear). Interment directly after mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 West 111th Street, Alsip IL.
