My sincere condolences to Bob's family.
I worked with Bob on my first full shift in the 3rd District, back in March of 1987.
Bob gave me the rand tour of the district and taught me a lot of things that I did not fully appreciate straight out of the training academy.
Later on I came to appreciate Bob's words of wisdom and his encyclopedic knowledge as the unofficial historian of the 3rd District.
I will truly miss you, my friend...
