Robert Demo Obituary

I wanted to thank all those who have been helping me survive this tragedy, and who are here for continued support. Today is the close of this guest book, but certainly not the close of our memories and thoughts of Bob. I miss him so much and think about him constantly. I love you Robert, no one will ever forget you, you changed my life forever and I will love you forever. Till we meet again, my heart is in YOUR hands, your Patti Cakes

Although I did not have the honor of meeting Bob, I do have the pleasure of knowing you. I know Bob will always hold a special place in your heart.You were able to show Bob what it felt to be loved. You gave him a very special gift.

You know where I am if you need a friend to talk to. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

It saddens me to learn about Bob's death. Working with veterans over the past 30 years as a social worker and therapist, I grieve deeply over the loss of each veteran that I have been priviledged to have worked with. I listened to all Bob's worries, fears and ghosts and saw a gentle and loving man in spite of his fears. It may seem small but what we can give is the gift of listening. I listened to Bob's heart and knew it was good. God Bless you Patti and family.

We knew Bob briefly a couple of years ago.We kept in touch over the internet occassionally. WE all liked Bob. He was quiet and shy.We are so very sorry for your loss.We can find some consolation when we lose loved ones through God's promise of being reborn into perfection, no more sickness.
