Robert Byrne Obituary

BYRNE, ROBERT D. Robert D. Byrne, born May 1, 1923, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on December 8, 2006. Bob moved to Washington in January 2005 with his wife Betty, who precedes him in death. Although he hated the Seattle weather, he loved his home and being close to his family. He never lost his quick wit, sense of humor or passion for golf. His friends at the Chula Vista Municipal Golf Course held a special place in his heart. He is survived by his children, Jim Byrne (wife Pam) of Napa, CA, Barb Byrne Simon (husband Sy) of Seattle, WA and Geri Keene (husband Dave) of Seattle, WA and six grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Travis, Wesley, Leslie and Kristiana. He was truly loved by all who knew him and will live on forever in our hearts. Remembrances may be sent to Group Health Hospice, GH Community Foundation, Dept. 4194, PO Box 34936, Seattle, WA 98124.
