Burmeister, Robert E. age 81, faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church, LaGrange, retired Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the Chicago Board of Trade, resident of Lexington Square of Elmhurst, formerly of Lake Hinsdale Village, Willowbrook, beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Koebke), loving father of Sue (Tony) Leffin, Patricia (Bob) Garcea and Kristine (Allen) Pielet, proud grandfather of Matthew Leffin, Rob and Peter Garcea and Jake, Samantha and Zach Pielet, dear brother of Lucille Lohuis and Lois Schoof. Visitation Friday, 2 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Rd. (½ mile North of Saint Charles Rd.), Elmhurst and Saturday, 10 a.m. until time of funeral service Saturday, 11 a.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, 201 N. Kensington (at Ogden), LaGrange. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 651 W. Washington Blvd., Suite 400, Chicago, IL, 60661.
