We met but once, but I knew that you were a good and decent person. My brother shared his heart with you and that was good enough for me, and I thank you for the love and care you gave him. Your pain is gone now and I know that you are in a place of peace, beauty and sunshine.

Cookie, so many years ago I was fortunate to come into the lives of your family. There is so much to remember, especially our telephone conversations - which became daily. We always made sure we talked about at least one thing that made us laugh. You are at peace now. Al, you always were so wonderful to Cookie, but in these past months your love, strength and character have been amazing. Betty, Rich, Bob and Angela - my love and prayers always. Anthony, may you and your family find comfort in all the happy memories.

Love, Martha

I found this on facebook and thought how appropriate this is for Cookie's life. Cookie was blessed with so many good friends that God used some of them to be “Cookie's Angels” at the end. Angela and I want to thank all of you wonderful girls for taking great care of her because in Cookie's heart you were her family…

Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile.

God bless you sister. We love you and you will always be in our hearts!

Love,
Bob, Angela, Dominic and Gianna

John10:27-29 "My sheep hear my boice and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand" (Jesus speaking). Love you Cookie, you blessed me with your friendship. I will never forget any of the great things we did together! Till we meet again my friend. xxoo

Cookie is at peace, it is those of us here that will cry for her, wish she were with us, and miss her all of our days. I am holding on to so many memories that I hope will comfort in a small way my family. Memories are what living is about and Cookie made those with so many people. May all of us who are mourning, keep Cookie's memories alive in all of us.

Al ~ there are no words to describe how your love gave such comfort and care. Your lives were so rich together. May those many memories, one day make you smile for the life you shared.
You will forever be our family.

Rest in peace now Cookie...Your loving brother Bob, Sister-in-Law Angela, Nephew Dominic, and Niece/Godchilld Gianna

What makes everyone remember someone is not how much money they accumulated, or their job status, or size of the house they owned, it is the size of their heart, and how they treated people during their life. So it goes without saying that Cookie will be remembered and missed by many, many people because her heart was big and she treated people with love and respect. Until we meet again sister, I will think of you fondly.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.
