Gleeson, Rita M. (nee Ransford), beloved wife of the late John F. Gleeson, loving mother of Mary (Thomas) Riccio, Thomas (Cindy), the late Dennis, John and David, mother-in-law of Theresa Barron, proud grandma to Elizabeth, Jenna, Ryan, Eric, and Andrew, devoted daughter of the late Dennis and Bridget, dear sister of the late Johanna and Dennis, fond cousin and dear friend of many. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, 9:45 a.m., from Kenny Brothers, 3600 W. 95th St., to Most Holy Redeemer Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. My Mother Mae Kinahan Evert was 1st cousin to Rita. As a child I remember
Aunt Bridie and Rita only as distant memories. I remember meeting Rita's son Dennis, I think he was a teen, he thought I was a Doll. My Mom and Rita wrote to each other at Christmas, Julia was my Grandma and lived with us for years.
