Richard Woods Obituary

HEREFORD - Richard C. "Dick" Woods, 76, Hereford and formerly of Custer, died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Laura Woods, Sturgis; two sons, Cleve Woods, Sturgis, and Ricky Woods, Custer; three daughters, Marlene Ybarra, Rapid City, Lorie DeJong, Box Elder, and Monica Bage, Canton, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rapid City, with the Rev. Joel Ziolkowski officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Custer Cemetery. Memorials have been established to the Hereford Volunteer Fire Department and South Dakota 4-H Foundation.
