Richard Svec Obituary
Svec, Richard Louis age 78, long-time resident of Cicero, passed at his Naperville home with family on Monday, August 6, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of the late Louis and late Marie (nee Strama) Svec. Loving husband for 53 years of Jean (nee Damitz) Svec, dear father of Valerie (Steve) Bilek, Laurie Svec, Richard N. (Laura) Svec, Gary (Kristina) Svec, and Terri (Kelly) Svec, cherished grandfather of Steven, Brian and Michael Bilek, Stephanie Svec, Elisabeth and Joshua Kasnika, Gabrielle Svec, and Robert Alejandro, adoring great-grandfather of Logan and Peyton Bilek and Nathan Bilek. Retired from George T. Schmidt after 43 years service. Served his community in the Cicero Police Reserve from 1959 to 1964. Served his country with the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1948. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007, at 10 a.m., at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 W. Royal Worlington Dr., Naperville, IL.
