I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I was fortunate to meet Richard a few years ago. There are certain people that have a great mix of integrity, character and kindness that leaves you knowing that they are a good person to the core. Richard was one of those people. My thoughts and prayers are with the Bricton Group and Richard's family as I know Richard was not only a wonderful partner to his business associates - he was a great friend. He also took great pride in knowing and appreciating the employees that worked at every one of his hotels. He clearly earned and deserved their respect. I always enjoyed the time I spent with him on the listing assignments I undertook for him and know he truly was a loving husband, father and grandfather from the conversations we often had. His annual trips to far away destinations with Betty was always a preferred topic of discussion. There will undoubtedly be a void in many lives with his passing. I am certain however that his spirit will remain strong with those he loved.

I have known Richard for almost 20 years. We officed together for 16 of those years. It was always a pleasure talking to him, sharing stock ideas, and just sharing life experiences.
He was a great man, and will truly be missed. Just a few weeks ago, I sat in his new office with him, and he was so excited about the move, I'ts unfortunate he didnt get to enjoy it for a longer time.
Best wishes and prayers to his family and friends! and the gang at Foresite Investments.
