I was his student in early 90’s. He honestly gave me the most valuable tools anyone has ever given me. He had incredible foresight and complete empathy for all living. I
used to see him in the fan years later and he always amazed me. What a magical person he was. Thank you.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Seltzers passing. I was a student of his at Chesterfield Tech in 92-94. He was my all time favorite teacher. We saw each other over the years after I graduated and he kept up with my career in the floral industry. He was a wonderful man. He will be greatly missed.
My condolences to his family.

I knew Dick for over 30 years as a neighbor and friend. I moved from our old block on Hanover many years ago, but saw him frequently on his regular walks. He was always cheerful and curious about family, children, garden and other news.
We will forever keep him in our hearts as a most wonderful person full of good natured friendship and enterprise.

I am so saddened to hear of the news of Dick's death. Dick volunteered for me in the Greenhouse at LGBG. He supported me so much and encouraged me to take up teaching Horticulture in high school when I was laid off. I am now entering my 5th year of teaching thanks to the encouragement of Dick.

I have in my office a collection of items that Dick would bring back to me in the fall when he returned from his yearly retreat to New York!

My sympathy to his sisters JoAnne and Marnie and also to Bob.
