Aunt Rita, Julie, Beth, Laura & Kris
What a great guy! It's so nice to see Uncle Rich's past students telling stories of how he made a positive impact on their lives. I loved going over there, for every holiday or get together, Uncle Rich always had a corky-yet fun contest or game amongst his guests. He will be missed.

To the Schnettler Family,
Please accept my sympathy for the terrible loss of a great man. I was a 1980 Graduate of Benito Juarez H.S. where Mr. Schnettler had a great impact on my life and many other students’ lives. The other day I happened to be looking at a plaque Mr. Schnettler presented to me when I was a student at Juarez, and it brought back many fond memories. My prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Mr. Schnettler had a great impact on my life. He encouraged me to pursue a higher education. As a direct result of his involvement, I pursued and received an academic scholarship to DePaul University. He was a great principal who challenged us to persevere and led us through many "firsts." On behalf of the first graduating class of Benito Juarez High School, Class of '79, please accept our condolences on his loss.

My deepest sympathy to the Schnettler family on the loss of Mr. Schnettler. I was a student at Benito Juarez High School from 1978 thru 1982. A Graduate of the Class of 1982. He was a great principal as well as a friend. My father Ruben R. Rodriguez was employed as a security guard when Benito Juarez first open in 1977 and Mr. Schnettler was his boss but also a friend to my dad. My dad died my freshman year (1978) and Mr. Schnettler made it a point to be involved in my four years in high school. May he rest in Peace.
