To the Entire Salvador Family.
My deepest sympathies. I was saddened to hear the news. I have very fond memories of Mr. S. and the many nights we all hung out together in the living room at your home in Riverdale.
Please let me know if I can do anything to help. I love you all very much.
Best Regards, Will

Dear Judy, Raymond, and family,
It is with a heavy heart that I give my sympathy. Memories of Roseland and St. Willibrord pass in front of me and the good times I had with your family as a child. I also remember Richard as being kind to my Aunt Inez, who knew Mary for years and years.
If I did not live out of town, I would be there with you.
Love to all!

To the entire Salvador family and extended family,
To say that I am shocked and quite saddened is a tremendous understatement. Having just seen Mr. Salvador at Tony and Gina’s home on the 4th of July, I can hardly believe his passing just five days later.
I am so glad I was invited over to their home and had the opportunity to enjoy his company one more time. I had not seen Mr. Salvador for several years but our visit together was as if a day had not gone by since I had seen him last. We talked about our families, his grandchildren, the old neighborhood, and how fast life goes by. We reminisced thirty years in thirty minutes and I was transported to-and-fro, from the first time I met him at 145th & Atlantic as young boy, to now.
When I left the party that evening I gave out hugs to everyone and said my good-byes. On the way out to my car, I was so glad I was able to talk and laugh with him. Even though so many years had passed, friendship never did.
The last thing we did was to give each other hugs. I can’t think of a better way to have said good-bye.
