and the moon has lost it's glow.

Rick it is hard to put all of my feelings in this . Thanks for the many things you did for me. Looking back in the last year you are still missed so much. You were such a rock for me . There is still so much love and memories
you left for us all. God bless you and thanks for being the brother I never had.

( beyond the sea}
the sun has set and day is night
reflections of you are now in gods light
i stand upon the edge of my hearts emotion
holding back these tears enough to fill the ocean
now it's only in dreams your love comes to me
as if i am the sand and you are my sea
as each wave falls it leaves your gentle
kiss
and carries our love upon a sea of mist
cast to the winds and to a sky of blue
for angels to see that i'll always love

As we all know the english language does not contain words that can quite the soul from the loss that we're all suffering from or express the compassion we feel for your family right now...

Ricky was so much more than a kindhearted man, he was a friend, a father-figure to those of us who don't have one and a ray of light in a world where light so often refuses to shine. Never one to complain, always having something positive to say and always, always bearing love, hugs and unmatched sincerity to how we were doing, Rick was so much to so many, including us.

We love Ricky as we love all of you, so very much, you all have at one point touched our lives in ways that we are forever grateful, and if there was any way we could take your pain away, we would. We do feel a slight relief of the agony when we think about how we know that like Charlie, Rick's legacy will live on in our hearts and our stories, that he will never be forgotten nor will his quiet heart and deep loyalty to his friends and family.
