Richard Perkaus Obituary

Perkaus Sr., Richard Carduff "Rick", 65, of Lake Clarke Shores, FL, died Wednesday, October 11, 2006 of complications due to lung disease. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janie (nee Kalgert). He is survived by his son, Rick Jr., (Stephanie); daughter Donna (Mark) Beal and four grandchildren, loving brother to Bob (Barbara), Mary Ann Kelly Boltz, Nancy (Roger) Farrell. He graduated from Loyola Academy, Wilmette, IL in 1959. In the mid '70's, he founded Fastener Specialties in the Chicago area, later relocated to West Palm Beach, FL. Rick had great passion for both family and business. Mass was held in West Palm Beach, FL. Contributions may be made to the Robert P. Perkaus III Scholarship Fund, Loyola Academy, 1100 Laramie, Wilmette, IL, 60091. 773-736-3833.

I want to offer my sincere wishes of peace and comfort in this time of loss for Rick's family and friends. As his family doctor, I always wished there was more I could do to help keep Rick "healthy".He is at peace now.
