Richard Nattsas Obituary

Nattsas, Richard C. 55, of Morris, died Friday afternoon at his home. Born April 25, 1950, in Chicago, he was the son of Albert and Bertha (nee Tarulis) Nattsas. He received his education in the schools of Chicago and later attended Local #281 Automatic Sprinkler Apprentice Program. On July 5, 1996, he married Bonnie J. Jacque in Joliet. They lived most of their married life in Joliet until moving to Morris in 2003. For 33 years, he was employed out of Local #281. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie of Morris, three stepsons, Tony (Jessica) Cook of Joliet, Eric (Sarah) Cook of Marseilles, and Tracy Cook of Joliet, two stepdaughters, Lisa Cook of Oak Forest and Karen Strong of Oak Forest, four stepgrandchildren, Jake, Keagan, Lauren, and Sean Cook, one brother, Albert (Peggy) Nattsas of Chicago, several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents. He was a member of the Lion's Club in Chicago. He enjoyed his wood working, fishing, and gardening. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at the Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson Street, in Morris, with Pastor Steven Lombardo officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Morris. Visitation will be held at the Fruland Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. 815-942-0700
