Dearest Janice, Kristyn & Kim, There are no words to express my sadness for your great loss. My heart is filled with so many wonderful thoughts of Rick. He was like a brother to me, and our family feels a great loss. He will be greatly missed, but heaven is now a better place. While he was on this earth, he made our world better for knowing him. We will carry his memory in our hearts forever. His love will live on through all who knew him.

Next year when I am golfing and Rick isn't there I don't know if I will be able to handle that. It is going to take a long time to get over this, that's if I ever do. First of all, I want to thank you for being a wonderful, caring, and amazing father. You taught Kristyn and I so much: Whether it was how to throw a baseball or how to love and respect others. I know that, because of you, my marriage will be true and loving, because that's the example you have shown me. You have been such an inspirational man and have touched so many lives. People that only met you once, have fallen in love with you. I know that you will always be with us, looking down on us, and taking care of us. Janice & Girls: You know I am feeling your pain--how I wish you didn't have to have the pain of losing a husband and father so soon. But God had kept Rick strong for you and God is keeping you ladies strong through all of this, and is wrapping His arms around you three now because he feels your pain, too.
