Richard McFarlane Obituary

No words have ever been written to truly describe how blessed we were to have such a wonderful man in our lives, our Dad, Richard McFarlane.

I want to express my family's deepest condolences to the McFarlane family in this time of great sorrow. He is with your mom again, both wrapped in God's loving arms.

So sorry to hear of Rich's passing. I have the fondest memories of "Big Rich" fishing on Lake Michigan with us. Cherish the memories of Rich as they will last a lifetime.

When I was a little girl, I can still remember all our happy moments we shared together. People said that because I was the youngest girl in the family that I was a spoiled brat, and I guess I was. You were my mentor, you thought me a lot of things in life, moral values, respect for elders, and things that are useful to our everyday life. As a Dad, you showed me of the how, the why, and the where. No matter what has come about; you were always there. Years may come and go, but your memory will never be erased. I once knew a man, who gave love at his best, and no one can ever take your place. I will miss you so much DAD!

To Our "McFarlane" Clan -- It is with the deepest sorrow we learned of the loss of your Dad. He was a great father and wonderful husband who loved his family so very much.
