I worked with Rich at the Shubert Theatre many moons ago. He kept us all entertained with his razor-sharp wit & endless talent. He is one of my most unforgettable characters in life & I will never forget him. I have been trying to find out where he was & am so sad to see that he has been gone many years. See you on the other side, Rich, perhaps in "Chickencharge" in the hereafter. BRAWWWK!

My memories of Rich are much larger than life - robust, keen, and oh so talented. It's been many years since I've seen him, but the impression he left on me is still so vivid. He is and will be impossible to forget.

Bob and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I just heard about your brother's passing late last night when I got home from a trip. I remember you saying that your brother had been sick and in the hospital for a long time. Additionally, you mentioned that his life has been very tough. Based on the other comments in this guestbook, your brother arose above his physical problems to touch many people in a very positive way. Therefore, he was obviously a very strong and good person and lived a life that should be admired.

Although having just recently meet Mr. Leff, it was quickly apparent to me what a special guy he was. His witty mind and great personality is how I will remember him. I hope to think that the furniture I helped him pick out at Crate and Barrel brightened his last few days. My thoughts go out to his family and friends...

When I think of the shows I did with Rich, or that I saw him do, it's difficult to choose my favorite -- but I cherish the memories of him as Noble Eggleston (and all the great characters in Little Me), and as dear Mr. Maraczek coming into the shop for the Christmas Eve toast with the clerks in She Loves Me. Here's to you, Rich!

I will always remember Rich and I have happy memories of when we all lived in the Summerdale condos. Rich's radiant smile brought instant sunshine on a gloomy day. I will always miss him.
Love, Mary
