Crane, Richard "Dick" 65, of Chicago Ridge. Loving husband of Anita nee Falkner Crane. Devoted father of Kelly (Thomas) Salzburg, Richard Crane III, Susan (Robert) Schulz, Kevin (Jacqueline) Crane, Brian Crane and Robert Hecker. Caring grandfather of 9. Dear sister of the late Elizabeth Hawley. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dick was a lifetime employee of the Chicago Transit Authority. Visitation Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Mt. Auburn Funeral Home 4101 South Oak Park Ave. Stickney, IL where sevices will be held Saturday 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment Mt. Auburn cemetery. Kelly, I'm sorry about the loss of your father and the disaray it has caused your family. I wanted to attend the service but was unable. dick crane was my cousin but also my best friend when we were very young,we work together in sales many years ago.we lost contact with each other,we both went in different directions and I am very sorry about that because he was a very special friend my wife in which I lost this year like him,we always hung out together and always had fun doing crazy things which made life interesting. god bless your fanily your friend john arrowood sr

I am so sorry for your loss, altho I do not know anyone of you very well we are family and I love you and am here for you if there is anything I can do! Its never easy saying goodbye to someone you love but know he is up in heaven with the rest of his family and prepairing a place just for you when its time! He will never be gone each of you carry a little peice of him everywhere you go, it may be his smile, his eyes, or just him in your heart but he is there and always will be!
