One year today daddy since you started your journey home to the Great Spirit. I bet you are sorrowing high in the sky with them eagles and running fast with them ponies. We sure do miss you down here but I know you are not gone you are everywhere now especially in the night sky. I look at the stars and that is when I think of you the most. Thank you for being the best father to us kids for teaching us to be strong and to always keep our head up. I LOVE YOU!!! Keep shining down on us. Grampa it's been a year today that you have gone to heaven. Things havent been very easy this year for anybody. We've allhad a pretty rough year.Please keep watching over everyone and I hope you see how good your great grandkids are doing.. Nicky is getting so big! Lord help us he'll be driving soon. I love you and miss you tons. I had a dream yesterday about when we went to Oklahoma to visit grams.. Remember when the chicken chased me all the way to the house cause i was trying to pick up one of the little chicks?? lol. i so miss that time we had and wish we could of spent more time together like we used too.. Richard it hard to believe that it is one year today you were taken to the hospital. All that day I prayed that you would open your eyes one more time so I could see those beautiful brown eyes that showed so much love in them. My heart is still sad of the lose of my wonderful husband. I love and miss you everyday. Thinking of the day we are together again. Love you.

Richard Pony Byrd was a wonderful mentor and always had time to help others and share his knowledge of the spirit. He blessed me on many occassions.

uncle Richie was one of the best men I ever met. he had more intregity and love in his little finger than most people can ever dream of having. Uncle Richard, as ur one year anniversary approaches we continue to have u in our hearts, thoughts and in our futures. As time turns the page, the thoughts of you are still strong. I thank you and your family for all the wornderful blessings you have given us. I go to ceromonines, and thoughts of you and your family fill my heart. I have never known a family as strong as yours. It saddens me to see them weakend by your absents. I try to send happy thoughts their way everyday. Let them know that everday that passes here on earth, is one more day closer to seeing you again. While you have never left them, not seeing you daily is hard. You are a great father, uncle, brother, and husband. And I thank Creator for blessing my family with the friendship and love of yours. daddy i miss you so much. there's not a day that goes by that i don't think of you. thank you for everything you have done for me. for teaching me how to be a man. for allowing me to come to you talk to you about anything and being open and honest. i miss you telling me to be good because we all know i need that. i miss ur hugs. and jokes i miss ur smiling. face that seem to brighten my day. i wish u can see landon and mckenna they r growing so fast landon talks about u daily and when mckenna dances i think about your love of all kinds of music. i wish u would of met jen before u got sick she is a great women and you would of loved her she has a soft heart as u did always worrying about others and then your self. i have tryed to be as good as a father as you were. i think im doing a ok job still fall short. its been hard seeing mom every day without you by her side even when u were well you two were always together. i know you were moms rock and her as well. i just also want to thank you for allowing me to spread my wings at a young age. teaching me to give and you don't always need something in return. to do for others even for nothing for we will be paid in full in the future. i miss you so much and thank you for being more then dad then you had to be. i sure can't wait to see you whole once again love you dad. your little elk. bobby

Happy Belated 4th of July to you. Sure wish you were with us down at Mom's in South Carolina. Three of our children and six out of our seven grandchildren was there. The all had fun. It would of been better if you were with us. But you with us in spirit and in our hearts. I love and miss you daily. One day we will be together again.
