Richard Andersen Obituary

My deepest sympathy on the death of your Dad. Your family has been a part of our family for as long as I can remember. I can recall very few Lorenz celebrations when the Andersens were not present and will always think of them with fondest memories.

Boy, I will miss Rich, and I am sadden by his passing, as I miss my own folks today--they were all part of the same tapestry of characters who became known as the "Greatest Generation". I think back to those family gatherings and what great fun they had and shared that family cheer with all in attendance. The Anderson's and the Lorenz's were family. They shared the laughter, the fellowship, the love and sorrow of daily living. All the great memories and accomplishments brought to us by the "Greatest Generation". We enjoyed some great conversations about politics, religion, sports and current events--those were the days. In fact, Rich got me my first full time job at Revere Copper and Brass, as he did for all the Lorenz boys. I am thankful for the opportunity of being with Rich and family through those great times.
