Pops,
Your the BEST Dad anyone could ever have. I can only hope, that I can be at least half the Dad, that you were to me and my brother and sisters. You worked hard for us and even though sometimes we didn't really seem to appreciate it, we knew it was ALL for us.
Being in McHenry with you, as a kid and even up until last year, are the best memories of my life. I hope I can give them to my kids, so they can remember it the way I did. Every fish we catch at the Lake, I know will be yours.
I am so proud of you, Pop, as a Dad, as a Marine, as a Father, and as my guide for my life. I will never forget all you did for me, Mom, my brother and sisters, your country, your friends, my friends, and all the grandkids.
Thank you God for giving me this person in my life and especially giving him to me as my Dad.
THANK YOU, POP !!
I LOVE YA MAN !!!
Your Baby,
Jim

P.S. The next round is on me. It's all I could do, for all the times I stopped by the watering hole and you quenched my thirst. I'll check in there, from time to time to make sure Annette doesn't miss any spots.

Dad, Bumpa,
Your long awaited rest and reunion with your "Tweety Pie" has finally come. We will miss you dearly and look forward to seeing you when our time on earth is done. One door has closed and another has opened for all of us. Take care of each other and watch over us and guide us. Your loving daughter and her family. XOXO
