Rhochell Scott Obituary

Rhochell Scott, 43, of Mapleton died Sunday, November 23, 2003 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo.


She was born February 23, 1960 in Payson a daughter of Sam and Ruby Biggs Hansen. She married J. Allen Scott on February 20, 1978 in Spanish Fork. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo L.D.S. Temple.


Rhochell was educated in the Spanish Fork Schools and graduated from the Spanish Fork High School. She was a graduate of Marys Beauty College in Provo. She was presently attending Utah Valley State College and working on a degree in Elementary Education. While attending school she worked for Artistic Floral in Spanish Fork.


She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she was active with the Young Womens organization and served as a ward organist and choir pianist. She enjoyed the Piano, scrapbooks, and shopping with the girls.


Survivors include her husband of Mapleton; three daughters: Alicia Scott, Whitney Scott, and Ashley Scott, all of Mapleton; her mother of Spanish Fork; two brothers and one sister: Gary S. (Janet) Hansen, Salem; Roger Lynn Hansen, Spanish Fork; and Jill (Doug) Talbot, Spanish Fork. She was preceded in death by a son, T.J. Scott and her father Sam J. Hansen.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Mapleton 4th Ward Chapel (White Church) at 31 West Maple, Mapleton, UT. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork on Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the Ward Chapel from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. at the Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers donations may be made at any Zions Bank titled J. Allen Scott Donation Fund, for the daughters of Rhochell.
