I had the honor of working with Rev. DeVries for 8 years. I will think of him often when I see something colorful, hear a "corny" joke, or have a moment at work when I would think that he should walk in the door with his smiling face. I know people with a kind heart. His kind heart was apparent when he talked with you. I will never forget the look on his face when he talked about his wife, daughters, sons-in-law or grandchildren. He would just glow when he would tell us about something that was happening in their lives. He will be missed my many, but we all know that he is with the Lord, our Father looking down on us.
