Reginald Mason Obituary

GENOA < Reginald B. Mason, 85, of Ledyard Road, Genoa, died Monday, March 26, 2007, in Genoa. Born in Genoa, he was the son of Clarence Leslie and Muriel Barnes Mason. Mr. Mason was a graduate of King Ferry High school. He was known for his great sense of humor. He was a self-employed farmer, working the farm which had been in his family for several generations. He also was employed for 19 years in the salt mines at Cargill. Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Isabelle Stoker Mason; three daughters, Janet (John) Manzer of Scipio, Judy (Michael) Andrews of Candor, and Audrey (Gregory) Hill of Bolton Landing; two sons, Lowell R. (Sally) Mason of Wilmington, N.C., and David Mason and Sheree, both of Scipio. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Matthew, Jenna, Jesse, Lucas, Meghan, Brian, David and Heather; two great-grandchildren, Corin and Mylee. Mr. Mason was predeceased by an infant son, James Francis Mason; and a sister, Rose Mason in 2006. Visitation will be noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, at the Langham Funeral Home LLC, 75 E. Genesee St., Auburn, with private family funeral services to follow the visitation. Burial will be in Ridgeway Cemetery, Poplar Ridge.
