I went to grammar school and high school with Regina, travelled with her on our senior year European trip and attended her wedding. I remember her grandmother's embroidery store. I learned of her death in the Maria alumnae news. She was a kind, cheerful woman and I send my condolences to her loved ones.

This entry is from my 8 yr. old daughter's journal. I wanted to share, as it speaks to the kind of loving impact Regina had on those who knew her. She is dearly missed.....
"Dear Diary, today is very sad because my Aunt Regina died today. When I got the news I was so sad because I only got to meet her once but she was funny and had many things wrong. Now I know she is in heaven with the one and only God and I know her legs will be with her and her arms will not hurt anymore because she is with God. Love you Aunt Regina, Gracie"

Regina,
Sadly we just heard of your loss.
John and you shared much over the last years especially the medical problems. We remember the times we we were together. We tried to keep in touch by visits and calls periodically. You were a great person and the world has lost the joy you showed everywhere you went. We will always remember your great smile and indomitable spirit.

We were so saddened to hear of your loss. My mom and Regina were roommates for several months at Manor Care. We all enjoyed her great sense of humor, even on her worst days. Know that she's in a better place watching over us all.

My heartfelt sympathy and prayers to others who knew and loved Regina. She will be so sadly missed. She is safely at peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father. May God's love and memories of this wonderful woman help you through this difficult time. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4

Please allow me to express my condolences at this time. I am hopeful that you will find comfort in your loving memories and in God's word, the Bible. "Blessed be...the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation." 2 Corinthians 13:4
