Dear Colleen, Maureen and families,

I will always remember your Mom as someone who took me into her home when I really needed it. I will always cherish the memories of the trip to Ireland that I was priviledged to take with you and your Mom. Somewhere in heaven Reg is singing an Irish tune!

Dear Colleen, Maureen, Danny, Maggie, Mollie, Kerry, Conor,Jack, Noel ext family and friends.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Loves leaves a memory no one can steal.

Our trip to Chicago last year was extra special because we had the pleasure of meeting the one and only REGGIE. A truly wonderful person.

Her illness may have confined her to her appartment but it did'nt stop her celebrating Halloween...We arrived at Reggies home, we were greeted by a larger than life figure dressed for the occassion with a wonderful wig of grey and black hair (somebodys elses)What a character! A warm kind loving person, whos priority in life was not Reggie..it was everyone else. Lets hope God had a word in her ear on the way in !!

Our very deepest sympathy.

Remember: Tears are a necessity

They are not a luxury

Stay with your tears

And hold your

memories close.

Finally: God gave us memories

That we may have

Roses in December.

We are thinking of you all at this very difficult time.

lots of love:

Dear Colleen and Maureen,

I have such fond memories of both your parents. Your mother will always be remembered by me for her smile, laugh, love of life, and how much fun she was. There are few people in your life who truly make a difference but your Mom was truly on the top of my list. I still smile when I think of her singing O'Brien has no place to go or any of her other selections or the weekend nights at Woolley's house. She will always have a special place in my heart and with all the O'Briens.

Love,

Kathy

Your mother was one of the most generous people on earth. She always welcomed us into her home and made sure we were safe. The highlight of the night was when she would get home from work and join us. She was a very special lady and will be missed dearly by all those she touched. I have so many fond memories of your mother in her home on Springfield. Stay strong and know that she is with your Dad in a better place.

When I think of Reggie I feel lucky that I was a part of her life. She was a real character, full of fun and laughter. Once she met you she didn't forget you or your name. America will not be the same for us without her. She has given us memories that we treasure and make us miss her even more.

Dear Mo & Col,

When I think of Aunt Gee it's always with a smile or a great memory of her resounding laughter. When she laughed, you had to laugh just by being in the room with her.

She always seemed to know EVERYBODY no matter where they were from and if she didn't know them personally, she certainly knew their mother/father or best friend's neighbor's brother's dog etc.

Like me, you've had the opportunity to have your Mom be both your Mom & Dad for many years which of course it's intended but in the end are thankful for their strength to endure many hard & lonely times without the companionship of a husband. I know that you're proud to be her daughters as she brought so much joy to many through her vibrant being. She is in the best place, reunited with your Dad and her family in heaven. I gotta think Rosie's around there somewhere to share a picnic bench and an irish ballad or two. You are in our thoughts and prayers as it's never an easy thing to lose your Mom...no matter our age or stage in life. My life is blessed to have such wonderful memories with your Mom, you and your families.

With Love,

Jeananne Ayers (Kovak)

(lest we forget.....Mo's favorite student)

We lived on a little "farmette" in Clinton Wis. in the 1940s and 50s. In the summertime we couldn't wait for our Chicago relatives to visit on the week ends. Regina always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye and was a joy to be around.
